From blueberries to building supplies there is a perhaps surprising variety and number of businesses and organizations ready to serve in the communities of West Elgin and Dutton Dunwich. The Western Elgin Community Expo highlighted that fact by bringing fifty-five of them together at the International Club between West Lorne and Rodney, and inviting the public to see what's available in their community.
A steady stream of visitors checked out the services and information being showcased Saturday. Just a few of the many exhibitors are pictured below.
- Bluegroves Farms (Hwy #3 Eagle) teamed up with The Arts & Cookery Bank to
present Chef Cindy Bircham's blueberry tarts. - Chris Moore of the West Elgin Dramatics Society will direct "Dear Santa" written by Norm Foster, playing at the Dutton Town Hall Dec 5-14. Find out more at www.weds.ca
