Family Flowers presented their annual Fall Festival with vendors, fall sales and specials and lots for kids to do including mini farm animals, pumpkin bowling, craft corner and face painting.

Fairies (and pirates) flocked to the Steed & Co Fairy Festival on Saturday. They spent a sunny afternoon with Tinkerbell roaming the lavender fields and enjoying all manner of lavender related crafts, activities and treats.

The 2016 St. Thomas Home Show filled the Timken Centre, Friday to Sunday, with businesses and organizations ready to help with home renovations and a huge variety of other services and products. The always anticipated yearly event is presented by the St.Thomas & Elgin Home Builders Association. 

Crowds of people eagerly stepped into spring with a visit to Canadale's 9th Annual Garden Show March 18th to 20th. They strolled the greenhouse and retail areas and took part in workshops and free seminars, visited the booths of local landscapers and gardening experts, tried local food and drink samples and checked out artisans and beautiful plant and garden displays. There was also Kids Club Crafts, the Easter Bunny and hot charity lunch by Elgin St. Thomas General Hospital Auxiliary.   

Visitors on the Aylmer-Malahide Museum Christmas Tour of Homes received a warm welcome at four unique residences and the museum. It was the 14th Annual event and fundraiser for the museum, hosted by a bevy of volunteers and four local homeowners. Many local businesses donate talents and décor, inside and out, providing lots of opportunity to pick up some original holiday décor ideas.
