"Southwold Remembers"

The annual "Southwold Remembers" service took place on November 6th in Shedden with displays, keynote address by historian Ted Barris, service and presentation of wreaths at the Veterans Memorial site.

Ted Barris spoke and presented visuals from his bestselling book Victory at Vimy. Barris is an accomplished journalist and broadcaster and author of seventeen non-fiction books, including a series on wartime Canada. "What the world witnessed on Easter Monday morning – April 9, 1917 – was a near miracle of ingenuity, co-operation and courage among volunteers of the Canadian Corps."
