Photos by Mark Girdauskas & Relish Elgin
Model planes – giant trains – and classic cars were the theme for this year’s Nostalgia Weekend at the Elgin County Railway Museum, June 1st and 2nd, 2013. The whole family was invited to explore outdoor displays of classic cars, locomotives and other rail equipment, railway heritage demonstrations and model railway layouts. The Elgin Flyers Model Aircraft Club displayed their models, and presented park flyer demos. Also featured were live music, BBQ on site, kids activities including train tables, tattoos, and a paper airplane challenge!
