The Treble Makers Women’s Choir has been singing, learning and having fun together since 2007. Each year they share their song and enthusiasm in two concerts – one pre-Christmas and one in the spring.
Founded by Sharon Little, The Treble Makers welcome women, aged fourteen and up, who want to sing a variety of music – from Bach to Boogie and Beyond. It’s an educational and performing group – members learn singing techniques and music reading skills in an environment which is encouraging, supportive and filled with laughter.

Rehearsals for the Spring concert have begun and the Treble Makers have put out an invitation to those who would like to give a choir singing experience a try. If you have thought that it might be fun but didn’t want to make a commitment, they have an offer for you – join them for a 3-month trial and a chance to sing with them at their Spring concert – for free!
Rehearsals take place in the West Elgin Senior Elementary School music room in West Lorne, Wednesdays from 7-9pm. If you are interested contact Jane at 519-768-1717.

Many people just never do it, they make excuses … "I just sing in the shower … My family tells me not to sing; they make fun of me … I was told to mouth the words when I was a kid … Oh, no, you don’t want to hear me sing; I can't sing." I have heard them all … The truth is that no one is tone-deaf. If they were, they wouldn’t be able to distinguish one person’s voice from another … Singing is a matter of experience and success with small steps.” (Relish Elgin, Early Spring 2012)
