The Horton Farmers’ Market came to life one last time for the 2014 season, with the third annual special Christmas Market event on Saturday morning, November 15th. It also marked the end of the present Market Board of Directors four year term, and the end of Belinda Bainbridge’s first year as the new Market Manager for 2014. Congratulations to each of them and to all the diverse and wonderful farm and artisan vendors for helping to make the Market a favourite place to savour the seasons, shop and eat local and meet friends each Saturday morning from May to November. |
On hand Saturday to wish market-goers a Merry Christmas, serve up roasted chestnuts, freshly popped popcorn and hot apple cider were Lori Baldwin-Sands, Serge Lavoie, Belinda Bainbridge (Market Manager) and Renee Saarloos (bottom photo, left to right).
