St. Thomas Public Library, July 21, 2015 – The City of St. Thomas, St. Thomas Public Library, and the Thames Valley District School Board are working together to create a leading 'Innovation Centre' at the former Wellington Street School.

Supported by the Dorothy Palmer Estate, the purpose of this state-of-the-art facility will be to introduce students and members of the general public to cutting-edge technologies, and encourage them to create, make, and learn at all ages. The program partners are currently recruiting for a Project Development Specialist to work with project partners, the community, and local stakeholders to build a comprehensive plan for the development of the centre, including programming and a business case to ensure long-term sustainability.

Interested individuals can check out the job posting at www.stthomas.ca or at www.stthomaspubliclibrary.ca.
