Those who attended the first “Eat, Drink, Create” evening at the St. Thomas Elgin Public Art Centre seemed to agree - the experience was relaxing, inspiring and a great way to start the weekend. The Friday May 17th event was a chance to try four or five art/craft activities, sip some wine and mingle over hors d'oeuvres. With an artist on hand at each “station” to offer suggestions and encouragement, both beginners and experienced artists seemed to be having fun. The evening flew by and many participants were heard to say, “I can’t wait for the next one!”
