The North America Railway Hall of Fame aims to provide a flavour of the importance of the Canada Southern Railway, and also to honour North America railway heritage. The diversity and richness of that history was on display on Friday evening (June 22) as presentations were made to the nineteen 2012 Hall of Fame inductees.

The event, coordinated by NARHF historian Laurence Grant, took place in the Anderson Dining Hall at the CASO Station in St. Thomas. Guest speaker Susan Ratcliffe, president of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario presented a thought-provoking talk on reality versus perception related to conservation of heritage buildings and structures.
Find snaps from the evening and a list of the inductees and nominators below.
