St. Thomas Public Library’s is still proud to show off the newly revitalized library which re-opened earlier this year. Jeff Yurek, MPP for Elgin-Middlesex-London dropped in this past Friday (June 15, 2012) for his official tour with library staff.
The revitalized St. Thomas Public Library on Curtis Street re-opened on Monday (January 16, 2012), after almost a year at their temporary Elgin Mall location. It was all smiles from both visitors and staff as the doors opened at 9am.
The space is bright, open and attractive. Quiet rooms upstairs just invite you to study something, and lots of comfortable seating areas are located throughout - one has a cozy fireplace that is sure to become a favourite.
