The St. Thomas-Elgin Local Immigration Partnership Council hosted a Settlement Strategy Launch event Tuesday March 20. The celebration of the work of many individuals and institutions who contributed to the strategy’s creation brought a great turn-out to the CASO station, including Mark Girdauskas who was on hand for photos.

The St. Thomas-Elgin Local Immigration Partnership is a collaborative community initiative funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada to strengthen the role of local agencies, stakeholders, and service provider organizations in serving and integrating immigrants in Elgin County. It is composed of representatives from community organizations who will participate in planning and coordination to enhance the delivery of integration services to all immigrants
