The Municipality of Bayham, the Township of Malahide and the Town of Aylmer got together to present Doors Open East Elgin on Saturday (Sept 22nd), showing off some of their most charming cultural and heritage sites.
Below you will find scenes from three of the stops (there were twenty-one!)
Rush Creek Wines participated in Doors Open and was and also holding their 16th Annual Harvest Festival. Rick Taylor entertained Saturday at the outdoor picnic and barbecue area, and Kennedy’s Critters intrigued kids (and adults) with a chance to see and hear about his exotic animals.

The present home of the Vienna Masonic Lodge No. 237 was built in 1860 as a Roman Catholic church. It was purchased in 1912 by the Vienna Masons and renovated for use as their lodge. Past Master of the Vienna Lodge, Bob Lozon was on hand to talk about the building and to give an interesting overview of the history and work of Masons and Shriners.
