The Kinsmen Annual Easter Egg Hunt tradition continued on Saturday (April 7th) for the 35th year. Families gathered at Pinafore Park on a picture-perfect sunny morning to seek out chocolate treasures hidden in the grass.

The Kinsmen helped the big rabbit with hiding 400 lbs of chocolate (30,000 eggs)! Face-painting and refreshments added to the fun. Kids waited, baskets at the ready for the hunt to begin, then spread over the park in search of the foil-wrapped eggs. As in the past, special plastic Easter Eggs could be traded in for a chocolate bunny – this year there were 42 of them!
The annual event has become a multi-generational tradition for many families – some parents in attendance Saturday remember taking part themselves as children, or took part as parents and are now bringing grandchildren.
