How Can Walking in St. Thomas Be Improved?

6/8/2016

St. Thomas, Ontario, June 8, 2016 – Looking to spice up your walking experience? We need your help! Elgin St. Thomas Public Health, along with the City of St. Thomas, local developers Doug Tarry Homes and Hayhoe Homes, and consultants from MMM Group, have created a survey to gather input about their walking experiences, as well as any suggestions or comments regarding the topic.  The survey is only open for 3 more weeks. The survey, along with more project information is available at www.activeelgin.ca or at https://www.research.net/r/WalkableST
The funding for this project has been provided through the 5 year Creating Connections Project. There is money ready to be put in use to increase walking in St. Thomas, but where do we start? That is where you come in! By filling out our 11 question survey, residents can provide us with information about their walking experience in St. Thomas.

For helping us make an impact on walking in St. Thomas, we want to help you get active. Every person that completes the survey will be entered in a draw for a chance to win a $200 Fitbit prize pack! The questionnaire is open until June 30th.

Don’t miss your chance to make a change and win an awesome prize. Get even more involved by frequently checking www.activeelgin.ca for all the latest updates as well as new opportunities.
