Glimpses Into St. Thomas Garden Retreats07/10/2012  The St. Thomas Garden Tour showcased talented green thumbs and a bevy of beautiful gardens on Sunday July 8th. The weather was perfect for the annual tour organized by the St. Thomas & District Horticultural Society. Most of the nine gardens featured backyard retreat areas, in a diversity of sizes and styles.  Owners of six of Aylmer’s many pretty gardens invited a closer look on Sunday (June 24) for the Aylmer & District Horticultural Society’s 2012 Garden Tour. The event offered a wealth of gardening inspiration as well as a look at interesting architectural features of the historic homes. Ready, Set, Grow03/13/2012  Master Gardener Diane Vaughan shared many tips on Growing Seeds at a workshop on Thursday (March 8, 2012) at the St. Thomas YWCA. Although those in attendance were in the mood to get gardening, many of the suggestions had to do with waiting till the right time to plant seeds and seedlings for the best results.
