Elgin County 2011 in Photos
There are countless opportunities in a year to enjoy arts, culture, recreation, events and homegrown food in Elgin County - and lots of photo ops to go along with them. Starting in June, photo-journalist Mark Girdauskas offered to share his work with Relish Elgin, adding his considerable talent and enthusiasm to documenting some of the Elgin County "scene".
Below you will find a random selection of photos from the past year, roughly in chronological order, in four sets of slides (hit play to see them all). The descriptions are brief - there's alway more information in the Relish Elgin More blog. As you will see, there are photos from many events and, of course, many we missed - lots to look forward to in 2012 for us and the residents and visitors to St. Thomas and Elgin County. Find event details on the Relish Elgin Events Page
Many thanks to Mark (and also to that under-appreciated Relish Elgin photo guy). And while we are at it - many thanks to the busy volunteers who make many of these events and happenings possible, to the farmers who provide us with the best food ever.
Enjoy!
